The fee allows you to use the service for twelve months, with no limit on
interview evenings, bandwidth, or administration users.
Yes. As long as you are an employee of the school, simply
sign up. You can then use the service immediately,
without any limitations for seven days.
Once you are happy that School Interviews will work for your school, simply
go to the payments page and generate an invoice. Otherwise we'll simply cancel
your account, without obligation.
Every school has parents who can't access the internet, but you can still
accommodate them:
- School Interviews has a kiosk mode, that allows a public terminal to be
used to book interviews. This
can be used in two ways: schools can have a kiosk at the school office for
students and parents to pop in and make bookings, and they can also have a
kiosk available on the interview evening so parents can turn up and book
interviews on the spot.
- Schools can also handle phone bookings very easily with School Interviews.
Office staff can access all teacher's timetables directly from their
desks, so bookings only take a minute or two. And some schools take this a
step further, pro-actively phoning the parents they most want to see.
Because you can access School Interviews from any computer, staff can
even do this from the comfort of their home.
Probably nothing. As long as you have a computer with a reasonably
modern browser, you can use our system. Our service works well with the following
browsers:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer - version 6 and above
- Mozilla Firefox - all versions
- Apple Safari - all versions
- Google Chrome - all versions
To make School Interviews as user-friendly as possible, we use
cookies and javascript. If your browser has either of these disabled, you will
see a warning with a link to instructions explaining how to enable them.
Your information is as safe as we can make it, without imposing draconian
security measures. There are two levels of access:
- Booking - parents have to enter the school code to access booking
functions. The school code has over 33 million possible values, so the
chances of a casual visitor stumbling on the one for your school is remote.
Even if they did, they would only be able to book spurious interviews - they
could not access anyone else's personal information without cracking another
code with over a hundred thousand billion values.
- Administration - the school office staff use a secure login system
to access administration functions. This is designed according to internet best
practices, including an automatic lockout after ten failed login attempts.
For security, we can't access your password. However, if you
contact us we'll reset it to a temporary new password, so you can log in.
Once you're in, you can then change the password again, to something memorable
for you. We recommend choosing a word or phrase that means something to you, and
then adding one or two numbers or symbols, like "!" or "+". So something like
"squash:club!" makes an excellent password (except that everyone has seen it now,
so please don't use that one!).

Most missing emails turn up in spam folders, so check there first. Then
check you entered your email address correctly - we've had many red faces
because of this. To check, use the same computer to go back to our website,
and enter the event code again. This will show you your booking summary page,
where you can check your email address and resend the booking confirmation.
If neither of these is the problem, unfortunately we can't help you much
further. We have no control over the ISP or company mail servers that relay your messages,
so although we log your email being sent we can't guarantee delivery.
